Sasha McMullen was born and raised in the San Gabriel Mountains of California. She received her training at the Art Institute of San Francisco and the University of California in Santa Barbara. She paints in oils and has twice been awarded grants from the Durphey Foundation to sketch, photograph, and paint native plants of the Eastern Sierra.
