Are you growing a plant you can’t identify? Have a picture you can share? Now is a chance to stump a local expert in plant identification… This event will be recorded. Everyone who RSVP's will be able to view the recording for two weeks following the event.

About the Event
Event participants can submit up to two photos per person of a plant for Kathy to identify on or before August 3 by emailing Sean Lahmeyer directly at slahmeyer@huntington.org (Please put " BAGSC Stump Kathy" in the subject line.) This event will be recorded. Everyone who RSVP's will be able to view the recording for two weeks following the event.
Photo specifications: Plant photos must include foliage and flower, and an overview habitat shot is also required. Please include some description of the plant in your email, such as height, etc. All of the photos will be put in a presentation for Kathy to see for the first time at our BAGSC Zoom meeting. Let's see if we can try to STUMP KATHY!
About our presenter, Kathy Musial: Kathy currently is the Curator of Living Collections, Huntington Botanical Gardens, Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, 1982–present.

Kathy has a BA, Biology, UCLA 1980 and a Certificate in Horticulture, UCLA Extension, 1982
She has travelled widely to study and photograph plants and lead botanical tours, in Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Taiwan, China, Japan, Ecuador, South Africa, Madagascar, and Peru.
