We're gearing up for our fifth annual "Day of Botanical Art" on ZOOM once again! The theme on February 18 will be edible California Native plants! Keynote speaker: Rose Ramirez, "Saging the World." Featured artists: Jan Clouse, Catherine Watters, and Donnet Vanek.

The theme this year focuses on edible California native plants. Each artist has chosen one California native plant to use in demonstrating their technique. Presenters and artists include:
- Rose Ramirez, documentary filmmaker, "Saging the World," artist, photographer, writer and basket weaver of Chumash and Yaqui descent.
- Jan Clouse on rendering acorns in colored pencil, with the California Coast Live Oak, Quercus agrifolia as subject
- Catherine Watters demonstrating watercolor techniques to illustrate the delicate California Wild Rose, Rosa californica
- Donnett Vanek combining graphite and drybrush watercolor techniques with Bladderpod, Peritoma arborea
