By submitting to this exhibition, I agree to all of the following:
I acknowledge I have read the "Call for Entries" for this exhibition and agree to its provisions.
The works submitted are my sole creation. All media is applied by hand, by me, the artist.
I understand that artwork I submit for display at this exhibition will be hung or displayed with all due care being exercised by BAGSC, the Portland Japanese Gardens, The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens and other associated parties. I understand that they take no responsibility for any loss or damage to the artwork or sales inventories I submit and are not covered by their standard insurance policies.
The insured value I have provided for each artwork will be used by the venue to determine their coverage for the exhibition. Every precaution will be taken by BAGSC, the Portland Japanese Gardens, The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens and other associated parties. BAGSC, the Portland Japanese Gardens, The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens and/or the venue take no responsibility for any loss or damage. Listing the insured value does not guarantee compensation by the insurance company at the amount listed.
I acknowledge responsibility for insuring my artworks until they are delivered to the venue destination.
Images submitted for this exhibition may be used in a catalog or publicity for the exhibition or for educational or interpretive purposes and may be used on the venue websites and social media for promoting the exhibition before, during, and after its run and for other non-commercial uses without further permission being sought.
Agreement to all the following applies to all of the following organizations associated with this exhibition: Portland Japanese Garden; Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens; Botanical Artists Guild of Southern California.

Sale of Artwork
I understand that artwork can be offered for sale during this exhibition, or can be listed as "not for sale" at the artist's discretion. Artists' contact information will be available for visitors who wish to contact the artists directly with artwork purchase inquiries, regardless of whether or not the artwork in the exhibition is for sale.
Sales are not required, and I understand that whether or not the artwork is for sale will not impact selection of artwork for the exhibition.
The Portland Japanese Garden will take a 40 percent commission on each artwork sale, and will coordinate shipping with the buyer and information and payment to the artists. Payment to the artists will be sent approximately one month after the exhibition closes. I understand I am responsible for reporting and payment of all personal taxes owed (i.e., income tax, etc.) from the sale of my artwork(s).
