BAGSC table at the Plumeria Festival at LA Arboretum

We are delighted to announce that BAGSC will have a table at the LA Arboretum Plumeria Festival on July 17th and 18th 2026

​

Join us at the Los Angeles County Arborteum & Botanic Garden to celebrate plumeria and tropical plants. The BAGSC table will have information about the guild, and greeting cards with member artwork for sale. 

​

1. Volunteer at the table and talk with guests about BAGSC and botanical art.

2. Submit your plumeria or tropical plant artwork to be printed on greeting cards for sale.

 

The Plumeria grove at the LA Arboretum boasts over 100 beautiful trees thanks to the volunteer effort that Diana Donnellan started in 2014. She has kindly provided BAGSC with photographs to view and use as references to create artwork from. Scroll down to see the fantastic plumeria blooms!

 

If you would like to make new artwork to submit for greeting cards, please browse the gallery of Arboretum plumeria images below and/or visit the LA Arboretum to see their beauty in person. The plumeria are expected to start blooming in June, but the leaves and stems are interesting, and there are many other tropical plants at the Arboretum if you would like to draw those. Reminder: while visiting the Garden, do not clip any flowers or leaves.
