NOTE NEW TIME: BAGSC December 2023 Holiday Members' Meeting and "Shiny Green Leaves" mini-workshop by Akiko Enokido

Time to Celebrate. Time for the Holly and the Ivy!

All BAGSC members are cordially invited to our annual Holiday Meeting online, Saturday, December 9 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time. Please note the time change from our usual meeting times to accommodate the time differences between Southern California and Japan.

After a brief business meeting and announcement of our election results, we are very excited to present our holiday gift to our membership—a special workshop by our own Akiko Enokido. The holidays are the time to paint the glossy leaves of camellias, ivy and holly and Akiko will share her techniques and demonstrate the methods she uses to paint her renowned shiny leaves.

To attend this hour-long demonstration, you must be a BAGSC member and RSVP for the meeting. Register on BAGSC’s website by clicking on the green RSVP button.

Registered members also will receive a link to the recording of Akiko’s demonstration, which will be available for unlimited viewing for two weeks following the meeting. Members who attend live will be able to ask questions of Akiko. This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your skills and watch a master at work.

Not a member of BAGSC? Go to the ASBA website by clicking here and follow the prompts to join. Be sure to add a BAGSC chapter membership to your ASBA membership for a mere $15 per year. That will allow you to participate in all our members-only free events and workshops, and receive a BAGSC discount on our fee-based events. Your membership will be good for all of 2024, and Akiko’s demonstration will be our welcome gift for you.
