BAGSC member Suzanne Kuuskmae is currently showing 25 of her works at Destination: Art in Torrance. The gallery says "Suzanne Kuuskmae's studio is a marvelous gallery of her talent in many styles, subjects and media. Sue paints amazing botanical watercolors. She also works with pastels to create paintings of the world around her in landscapes, still life and much more."

She recently showed her work in Destination: Art's show, "It Isn't Easy Being Green."

What does the color green evoke for you? Down-to-earth? New beginnings and growth? Renewal and abundance? Jealousy and inexperience? Destination Art invited viewers to see how each of the 76 artists interpreted their theme in 93 paintings. Artwork was displayed at the gallery from January 25 through March 2nd, and is still viewable online here: LocalArtists@destination-art.net.
